Im Back

After alil delay I was without internet for the last few days. Some truck took out my cable line and I was left without any signal. This was a weird experience for me. I was given a chance to just relax and not deal with the grind of people calling every five mins. It was nice but I do like being able to talk to people.

Im back tho now. Im so happy people have been reading my work. Im going to work on new posts for everyone to hear about.

Funny life

Man life is crazy sometimes I came home to no internet no cable and no land line.  Sometimes i hate people.  I dont understand how a cable line survives a hurricane a blizzard and a stupid people.  I just dont get it.

Tatts

So I have 5 tattoos and I love them all. They each represent a a time in my life and are who I am as a person. I know that in some peoples minds I am not as professional because of them. I feel that is far from true. If you as anyone about me I am a great worker. I see them as art and can not wait to get more. Even though there will be things that having these works on my body will limit me from doing I dont care. This is my body and I will do with it as I please.

My Medium

The new body of work that Im doing is showing the us of t-shirts as a 3d artist medium. I want to see if people will understand that fine art is not just on a canvas. My style is that of a graffiti artist with the a digital feel. I first approached this as a way to show the different types of printing styles for t-shirt design. After speaking with my peers and my professors it was changed to the shirt itself as a way to express my artistic voice. This will be and has been a great journey. I can not wait to show in my gallery showing.

Freedom

Why do I do art because it lets me be free. I can sit down with a pad and a pen and just escape to my own world. I can sit at my computer and escape into the footage I am editing or the tee shirt Im working on. I can just be myself and not care about the world outside my mind for awhile. This is the place I am happiest the place that I am free the place that if I could I would never leave.

The Message

In a world where all we see are things taking away from us. It is time that we take a stand. It is time that we show those that make this world rigid and cold that natures curves are what we crave. We are the ones that must make this choice to break away from the straight line walls of our urban world and take hold of the smooth grace of the soft curves in a river. The ease of a tree as it rocks in the wind. The steady pace of the clouds as they are pushed by the wind. Do not let those that wish to bombard you with ads for the latest and greatest thing shield you from the truth that is all around you.

My world is that of a free place where I can create and move as I please. A world that removes judgment and allows for beauty itself to show. Taking away the straight line world of THE MAN and replacing it with the freedom of MOTHER EARTH.

I ask all of you that read this to take time out of your day and allow the natural world to wrap around you. Listen to the breeze let your eyes rest in  a place without sign after sign reaching for your attention.

What is art

For me art is creating a statement for the world to see. I use the medium of tee shirts to make my statement. I do not believe in the need for my work to exist only in a gallery. The world itself is my gallery.
